Bio
Iftekhar hails from Chittagong, Bangladesh. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In January 2024, he joined SAIL lab and commenced his PhD at Binghamton University. In Fall 2024, he transferred to the University at Buffalo where he is focused on researching fluid transport mechanisms associated with microalgae swimming.
Research Interests
Iftekhar is interested in research focuses on understanding the mechanics and dynamics of microswimmers and soft matter systems, integrating theoretical frameworks with simulation techniques.
